On July 17, 2023, the Marketing Center of Bio-Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. hosted an outdoor team-building exercise at the Qinneng Hall. Participants included leaders and supervisors at all levels within the Marketing Center. Thanks to the concerted efforts of everyone, the event was conducted safely and smoothly, achieving complete success and fulfilling the original objectives of the training program. All attendees demonstrated strong hands-on skills and highly effective teamwork. The overall activity unfolded in a relaxed, joyful, and rewarding atmosphere, yielding substantial benefits. Below are some highlights from the event.

To begin, we launched an “ice-breaking activity” designed to foster a sense of belonging and ignite everyone’s enthusiasm in a short amount of time. Participants offered both verbal and physical encouragement to those ahead, using touch and other forms of nonverbal interaction to quickly build rapport and get to know one another.

The second activity was the “Dragon Emerging from the Sea” event, held on the outdoor basketball court. Participants were divided into four teams; each team lined up in a row, with their ankles tied together, and then moved laterally as a unit. The first team to reach the finish line won. During the competition, all members of each team worked in unison, chanting slogans and stepping in rhythm as they made their way toward the finish.

The third activity was “Pattern Sorting,” in which only one member of each team was allowed to touch the cards and arrange them in the correct order before handing them over to the staff for verification, while the rest of the team provided strategic advice from the sidelines. This exercise tested everyone’s ability to associate patterns and their memory.

The fourth activity was “Breathing Power.” Participants were divided into upper-, middle-, and lower-level teams. Information from the blueprints held by the upper-level team was relayed to the lower-level team via the middle-level team, which then constructed the piping system. Completion was judged by whether the finished pipeline could blow up a balloon, thereby assessing the quality of the piping assembly. This exercise enhanced participants’ abilities in information integration, communication, and teamwork.

The fifth activity was “Tangram.” All participants were randomly divided into seven groups, and through exchanging Tangram pieces among the groups, they worked together to reconstruct the shapes in their hands. This game fostered leadership, task allocation, and teamwork, bringing the day’s team-building training to a perfect close.

All team-building activities are centered on physical engagement, which in turn stimulates cognitive, emotional, volitional, and interpersonal processes. Each activity follows a well-defined procedure, ensuring full participation and immersion from start to finish. The overarching goal is to enhance participants’ awareness of teamwork, with the expected outcomes being achieved: individuals come to recognize the importance of collective spirit, calm problem-solving under pressure, and close collaboration. As the saying goes, “Many hands make light work,” and “A bundle of chopsticks is unbreakable.”
