The contestants eagerly geared up and showcased their skills; after round after round of intense competition, champions in the men’s singles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles events were ultimately crowned.
This match drew dozens of exceptionally skilled players, who delivered a visual feast with their masterful techniques and extraordinary performances. Amidst lively banter and camaraderie, the players showcased their unique ball control and exceptional feel for the game.
The tournament is played as a best-of-five format, with each round a fierce battle of skill and determination. Players seize every opportunity, advancing step by step and leaving no chance for advancement unexplored. The entire competition is tense and thrilling, brimming with challenges and unexpected twists. Men's Singles
In the men’s singles event, young billiards star Jiang Jinchun squared off against the aggressively styled Wei Guoliang in a captivating final showdown. Throughout the match, both players displayed decisive shot-making and remarkable consistency, treating the audience to one thrilling attack after another and pinpoint-accurate strikes. In the end, after a grueling 30-minute battle, Jiang Jinchun edged out Wei Guoliang 2–1 to claim the men’s singles title.
Men's Doubles
The men’s doubles event was equally thrilling! Six formidable teams engaged in a fiercely competitive showdown, with every shot showcasing the players’ exceptional skill. The intense battle, coupled with their clever tactics and lighthearted, humorous demeanor, drew wave after wave of applause and cheers from the audience, pushing the atmosphere to a fever pitch. We also witnessed the seamless synergy between Zhang Quanshun and Wei Guoliang—their clear-cut strategies, razor-sharp technical prowess, uncanny ability to anticipate their opponents’ moves, and unparalleled on-court chemistry—which ultimately propelled them to claim the men’s doubles title. Heartfelt congratulations to them!
Mixed Doubles
The mixed doubles event was equally thrilling! The players showcased seamless teamwork and clever tactics, executing brilliant offensive combinations on the billiard table. Director Shi Liang’s uncanny, elusive shots and decisive cueing enabled him to shine in crucial moments, securing a decisive lead. Meanwhile, Shao Hongqiu’s fluid, graceful strokes and supple wristwork created a mesmerizing display of finesse. Their perfectly synchronized play left their opponents utterly unable to counter, and after a fiercely contested match, Shi Liang and Shao Hongqiu ultimately claimed the championship title.
